Companies subject to corporate activity offer opportunities to produce uncorrelated returns, often with vastly superior risk/reward skews, and occur in all corners of the market. Despite this, it is a strategy that is underappreciated by many investors and is therefore, frequently overlooked as a source of alpha both in its own right and in the context of a broader portfolio.

We have spent years refining a process that encompasses everything from the initial stages of identifying an opportunity right through to the ultimate crystallisation of value. Our focus and specialisation in this area sees us far better positioned than most to capitalise on opportunities that present themselves. Our fee structure is designed to prioritise performance over asset gathering, maximise our investible universe, and most ensure alignment with our investors.

The Absolute Return Fund provides exposure to our focused strategy. The Fund invests in opportunities created through corporate activity – takeovers, mergers, asset sales, demergers, and restructurings – to capture superior risk adjusted returns regardless of broad market movements.

The Fund is open to both retail and wholesale investors seeking differentiated and uncorrelated returns.

In addition to the Absolute Return Fund, Harvest Lane can offer customised portfolios in certain situations (typically for endowments, institutions and large family offices). Please contact us (links to enquiries email address) for more information.
